Garnier's Guardmice
t is Summer, 1152.
Garnier, a veteran of the Winter War, is called from outpost duty to help lead a new team of Guardmice as they carry out tasks for the Guard in the western Territories. Joining his patrol is Kole, the tenderpaw son of a dear friend Garnier lost in the horrors of the Winter War; Walmond, an ally’s tenderpaw, currently in his care; Ryse, a guardmouse with a heavy focus of efficiency; and Thelma, an Darkheather survivor thought dead. As summer shines bright, this new patrol begins their first mission with a confidence expected of the Guard – but it is still a mouse’s world, and not even Guardmice are free from danger.
